Nairobi the capital city is located in the southwest of Kenya. It is considered as one of the main comercial and cultural center in East Africa.
The word Nairobi comes from the masai word which means stream of cold water. Nairobi is also known as the green city in the sun.
Language
The official languages in Kenya are English and Swahili. There are many other indegenous languages in Kenya which are Kikuyu, Luhya, and Dholuo. Sheng is a popular local slang.
